A Semantic Ontology Alignment Method

In the last years, ontologies become more and more popular in the e-learning domain. Ontology alignment is important for building flexible adaptive or personalized E-Learning applications. Latest research in ontology mapping show that complex ontology mapping methods are needed for achieving good quality mappings. This paper analyzes the specific mapping requirements in ELearning domain and proposes a semantic partial ontology-mapping method, which use heterogeneous recourses: WordNet, local or Web domain ontologies and automatically extracted from textual learning recourses terms.
